The words on the back of this piece are from a poem I wrote
on May 23, 2020, about how the Covid-19 virus and its many
variants may be tenacious, but so also are we:

"The only way to weaken its grip is to name its power over me.
As I acknowledge truth and my own tenacity,
I'm freed to find my way through the maze of emotions."
