Thorny Love, May 11, 2020

The 14th entry in Corona Diary, a visual journal,
a personal account of the Covid-19 Pandemic by Robin Atkins

Thorny Love, large picture of piece for May 11, 2020, in Corona Diary, a visual Pandemic journal by Robin Atkins, bead artist

The words on the back of this piece are from a diary entry written
on May 11, 2020, about how "thorny" normally loving relationships
can become during times of isolation and stress:

"Ouch. It hurts. Stop hurting me.
Be kind. Listen. Stop talking and listen.
Still it hurts. Still I am lonely... Do you need anybody?
I just want somebody to love."

ink drawing on paper painted with acrylic paint, 2.5 x 3.5 inches
