Addiction, April 26, 2020

The tenth entry in Corona Diary, a visual journal,
a personal account of the Covid-19 Pandemic by Robin Atkins

Addiction, large picture of piece for April 26, 2020, in Corona Diary, a visual Pandemic journal by Robin Atkins, bead artist

The words on the back of this piece are from a diary entry written
on April 26, 2020, about how our normally more-or-less managed bad habits,
can turn into an addiction problem during prolonged times of stress,
such as we experience during the Pandemic:

"Chocolate, mostly chocolate.
I don't want to tell you how much chocolate I'm eating.
Liz drinking. Me thinking about drinking again.
Addicted to love too. Possessed by obsessions.
Wallowing in chocolate."

painted and collaged decorative papers, beaded edge, 2.5 x 3.5 inches
